This Privacy Policy explains how Out East Marketing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.outeast-marketing.com (the “Site”).
Information We Collect
- Contact information you submit through our contact form, such as your name, email address, business name, the service you are interested in, and any details you include in your message.
- Analytics information, but only if you accept analytics cookies. This covers pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics truncates and does not store), referring site, and general device and browser type. It is not used to identify you personally.
The Site uses no advertising pixels, and we run no advertising or remarketing products of any kind.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Site. It runs under Google Consent Mode with all storage denied by default, so no analytics cookies are placed on your device unless you press Accept on the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
- If you accept: Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically
_gaand_ga_<id>, which expire after two years) to recognise returning visits. - If you decline: no analytics cookies and no identifiers are stored. Google Analytics still receives an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which cannot be linked to you or to any other visit.
- Either way, we store your choice on your own device using browser local storage so we do not have to ask again. This is strictly necessary to honour your decision and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
To change your answer, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser settings and reload the page — the banner will appear again. You can also install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on every site.
