Website Concept — Loco Lobster, East Moriches, Long Island
A menu Google can actually read
This is a concept we built on spec: Loco Lobster has not hired us, and this is our idea of what their website could be.

What We Built

Every dish is written out as text
The lobster roll, the fried chicken and lobster sandwich, the lobster grilled cheese: each one has its name, what’s in it and its price typed onto the page, not baked into an image. Google can read every word, and so can the AI assistants people now ask for recommendations. Changing a price is a quick text edit, not a new file.

Every part of the menu gets its own page
The menu is split into 8 sections, from Rolls & Sandwiches to the Seafood Build-A-Boil, and each one has its own page with its own title in Google, like “Lobster Rolls in East Moriches, NY” and “Seafood Boil in East Moriches, NY”. Someone looking for a lobster roll lands on the lobster rolls, not the top of a long menu. Behind the scenes, each dish is also labelled as a menu item in the code search engines read.

Built for the phone in your customer’s hand
A Call button sits at the top of every page. The address opens directions in Google Maps with one tap, and Uber Eats is a tap away for delivery. Someone deciding where to eat can go from a search to a phone call without pinching and zooming.
