A New Bed and Breakfast Is Coming to Westhampton Beach
A new bed and breakfast is taking shape at 57 Mill Road, steps from Main Street. The opening date has not been announced yet, but it is expected to welcome its first guests in the spring.

There is a new corner of Westhampton Beach worth keeping an eye on. A new bed and breakfast is coming together at 57 Mill Road, just a short walk from Main Street, and from the street it already has that look, the kind of beautiful, cozy, quaint place you want to wander into. The opening date has not been announced yet, but it is expected to welcome its first guests in the spring.
Even though it has not opened, the owners have already started making the place feel like part of the neighborhood. Right now the front lawn is dressed up with a fun bit of Halloween spirit, skeletons lounging in the Adirondack chairs and pumpkins on the porch steps, a small sign that this is going to be a place with personality and a sense of fun.
From a construction site to a finished retreat
We spent time at the property shooting the before and after photos for Dragonfly Landscaping, who has been managing the landscape design throughout the project. The difference is striking. Not long ago the lot was a working construction site, a dirt yard, a fenced perimeter and a house still wrapped in window stickers. Today the grounds are planted and finished, with gardens framing the front porch and a bluestone patio and pool tucked into the back behind mature trees and privacy hedging.
“There really is not anything like it in the area, and I think it is going to be a great addition to our town.”
What makes this spot special is where it sits. You can walk to Main Street, stop by the farmers market that is going to be right across the street, and step straight into the Westhampton Beach lifestyle. For visitors, that means a place to stay that puts the whole village within reach on foot. There really is not anything like it in the area, and that is exactly why I think it is going to do well.

A welcome addition to the village
Westhampton Beach does not have anything quite like this right now, and that is a big part of why I am so excited to watch it come to life. A small, characterful place to stay, within walking distance of the shops, the restaurants and the farmers market, fits the town beautifully and gives visitors a real reason to slow down and stay a while.
We will share more once an opening date is announced. For now, it is worth a drive past 57 Mill Road to see it for yourself, skeletons and all.
